More about The Safer Neighbourhoods Sports Project
The Safer Neighbourhoods Sports Project is a Four Year Project which started in March 2006 and runs to March 2010 it runs in partnership with several local agencies in the London Borough of Harrow. The program provides sporting activities for children and young people aged 7 – 16 years old. The main aims of the project are to reduce anti – social behaviour, youth crime reduction, encourage good citizenship, providing employment opportunities and improve community cohesion.
The project delivers the following activities to engage with the highly diverse community in the London Borough of Harrow. The activities that are currently being delivered on the Safer Neighbourhoods Project are Twilight Football Session, Holiday Course, Matchday Coaching Activities, Interstate Games, Rookie Coach Schemes, Film and Football Courses and Junior Citizens Activities.
