More about Sport3 Network
In general the main social issue addressed in the project relates to gender equality which, when addressed, is reflected in the decrease of gender bias and violence against women. This is particularly crucial in the area where the project is established whose cultural characteristics is sexist, misogynist and violent tradition. The Sport3 Network promotes equity through educational sports, making boys and girls play together and work issues related to gender, ethnicity and avoidance of violence consistently through the sport3 methodology and building human values such as solidarity, respect, honesty and cooperation. All our groups are mixed and have a prevalence of women teachers, as well as most of our beneficiaries are also girls. In our sports families are invited to attend and verify the educational way to play sports and young people are urged to take their acquired knowledge to their peers in their schools and actions taking part on a recurring basis in the community.
