The Show RED CARD against Child Labour tournament is a campaign against Child Labour. Childrens hands were used in Punjab Indian and Punjab Pakistan. In the last FIFA World Cup the use of these children stitched balls were banned. But still the practice of children stitching footballs goes on Children toiling world wide goes on to an unprecedented 246 million. While there are existing laws for the prevention of Child labour. Its impact and control has yet to be seen. That is because civil society has not accepted child labour as crime.
Child labor like dowry is prohibited but will continue unabashedly in a modern society. The mind set of people has to be changed. Every thinking person should be included in the change, including the owners of Child labour . In spite of existence of the child labour prohibition law, child labour prevails in the society. To sensitize people on this issue through the regressive campaign. The advocacy should spread among school going children, college students, cooperates, employers of children, etc
